Tasty, full of flavour and great for dipping
Beautiful biscuit from Italy that does not fail to wow. Easy to make and easy to eat.
Instructions
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition
Stir in vanilla and almond
Combine dry ingredients; add to the mixture
Stir in almonds and other nuts/dried fruit/chocolate drops / marshmallows
Line a baking sheet with foil and grease foil
Brush with milk and sprinkle with remaining sugar
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
Lift foil onto wire rack; cool for 15 minutes.
Place on a cutting board; slice 1/2 in. thick.
Place slices with cut side down on ungreased baking sheet.
Turn oven off, leaving cookies in oven with door ajar to cool.
Store in airtight container.
